The Apartment Service has had a very successful participation at the Business Travel Show (BTS) which was held in Earls Court in London last week. Our stand has attracted a lot of attention from a large number of business buyers. Especially of interest was the new technology on show on our website, namely our property management system and online booking facility. Our ability to continue to innovate our services, coupled with our 28 year experience and the leading role we play in the industry have given us the thumbs up from the visitors to our stand.
Business travel is also being hit by the credit crunch and a poll amongst 170 travel buyers at the BTS, commissioned by the show’s organisers, concludes that many companies are looking to save money on their travel arrangements. This is why serviced apartments are really the flavour of the moment for corporate buyers and TMC´s, presented with decreasing travel budgets.
This is backed up by one of the key findings in the first Global Serviced Apartment Industry Report, published in September last year by The Apartment Service. “The serviced apartment sector is well placed to withstand the global economic slow down” and “half of British companies are turning to serviced apartments for their short term accommodation requirements of more than a week”
